BackUp Maker is a program with which you can schedule your backups.

First connect the disk you want the copies to be saved on and configure what type of copy you want to make and the interval between copy and copy. You can forget it because, as long as the disk is connected, BackUp Maker will take care of making your backups without you having to reschedule them.

Also, if you want to save space you can program BackUp Maker so that it only copies the new elements from the last time you made the copy, this way it doesn't save repeatedly the same files but it has a backup "base" and updates it with the modifications or new elements.
